Why have I been so slow in continuing with this blog - My Lifetime Heart's Desire

Well - in January 2008 I became extremely ill and could not seem to regain any health or energy. 

I did some work on the computer just about daily starting the end of May 2008 and in July decided to start this blog.  About a month later due to health issues which precluded me living alone any longer, I moved from New Mexico to Northern California.  

From that time until October 2009 I concentrated on getting myself stronger and developing a little bit of social and Church life.  

I had been to the dentist in October and in November 2009 had a tooth pulled.  I proceeded to make plans to get my mouth worked on to improve my teeth, gums, etc. (I am an older woman - 73 yrs of age).  However, due to the stress of the dental visits, etc., my health started on a relapse of CFIDS - Chronic Fatigue and Immune Deficiency Syndrome (which the CDC now calls Chronic Fatigue Syndrome).  

It has taken me until this time to start any kind of recovery from that relapse.

I hope to be able to continue contributing more to this blog fairly frequently.  I would hope that others will be encouraged  from my experiences and see that in most instances life can go on with joy and satisfaction, even when disability sets in.

My First Post To This Blog

Hello - my name is Mary. This blog may chronicle my life journey - also it may not.

I know what I want to do with this blog - but how to do it and how it will turn out is a mystery to me.

My goal is to have this Blog be an encouragement to people - whether it will be or not is up to those who read.

This all probably sounds ambiguous and strange, but come back often to see if I can fulfill my goal for this Blog.
